Ardeny 1944 (Ardennes 1944) is a wargame about the last German offensive in west Europe in winter 1944/45. The game simulates the first phase of the battle when German forces broke the front and marched towards Meuse.
The game uses "WB95" (Great Battles 1939-1945) rules which are designed to recreate World War II large battles. Counters represent regiments, one hex about 2500m, one turn one day. The rules of this game was a base for creation of the system.
New edition of the game was released in 2004 by the Taktyka i Strategia. It used revised and updated version the "WB-95" system. A number of scenarios, along with expansions (new maps and counters as well), was published in the "Taktyka i Strategia" magazine.
2nd edition of the Taktyka i Strategia version was released in 2018, with new board, counters and scenarios, along with updated system rules.
