A Mexican trivia game that was quite popular some years ago. Up to six players or teams can play. The players advance in a track of 42 spaces (or "kilometers", hence the name of the game) by answering questions about six main themes. A black piece represented the runner from the "Ignorance Country", a special player that advances every time nobody answers a question.
Because of the game's popularity, more editions were published: "Maratón Junior", for younger players with easier questions; "Maratón de los Famosos", with questions about celebrities of TV, sports, and music; "Mi primer Maratón", a very basic edition for children; and "Maratón con Opciones", a variant with 3 answers for each question, where players try to choose the correct option.
